Jenny Lee, Director of OIS ART OF CANADA, participated in Art Fair Daegu 2025 as coordinator, accompanying three contemporary Canadian artists. Together, they introduced Korean art enthusiasts and the general public to the unique perspectives and diverse artistic expressions of Canadian contemporary art.

This year’s participation held special significance as it celebrated the 2024–2025 Year of Korea–Canada Mutual Cultural Exchange. At the VIP opening event, internationally acclaimed Canadian artist Sylvain Tremblay captivated audiences with a live performance that received an enthusiastic response. He was also featured in an interview with MBC, one of Korea’s major broadcasting networks, which further highlighted his work.

The prominent media coverage of Tremblay’s art on MBC greatly enhanced the visibility of Canadian art in Korea. This success not only showcased the creative excellence of Canadian artists but also built strong anticipation for their continued participation in future cultural and artistic exchanges.
